Ballers & Thought Callers: A List of the Top 10 Smartest US Cities
Portfolio.com recently published a study using data from the new American Community Survey, some of which assessed the median level of post secondary education obtained by the residents of 200 cities, in addition to the relative earning power of adults who live in them. Upon reviewing the list of America’s smartest cities, there were some surprises sprinkled in with the predictable college town locations, I was a bit shocked that none of the 62 cities in New York state made the top ten, especially with such famed cerebral giants like Carl Paladino, Jimmy McMillan & Elisabeth Hasselbeck all calling the Big Apple home.
